To develop and conduct research studies that focus on promoting the physical and mental health of individuals, organizations, communities and society. |
| Objectives: |

1. To generate and disseminate knowledge that informs social work practice, enhances the delivery of social services and influences state and national policy in the health/mental health fields; |

2. To provide critical methodological and substantive training for graduate students in the health/mental health fields; |
|
|
3. To assist NCSSS faculty to achieve their highest professional and scientific development in the health/mental health fields; |
|
|
4. To increase the visibility of NCSSS and CUA through professional publications, presentations at professional meetings and other scholarly related activities. |
